From City Hall to the State House!
I’m running for State Representative for the 49th Legislative District because our community deserves leaders who listen, show up, and deliver real results for and with everyday people and families.
For the People,
With the People
This is a critical time in Washington State, when decisions being made will have far-reaching effects on everyday families and local communities, and that’s why I am running. Too often those decisions are made without the people most affected at the table and I have a proven record of delivering on promises, having trust with our community members of all backgrounds, and a clear understanding of how legislative bodies work.
I will be a State Representative who beliefs are set in:
Equity: Everyone gets a fair shot, no one is left behind, and we should remove barriers that keep people from thriving.
Community: Leadership through listening, showing up, and making decisions with the people most impacted.
Our Future: Protect our air, water, and climate while building systems that work for the next generation.

“I am ready to roll up my sleeves and fight for you in Olympia”
I am multi-racial, Indigenous and Latina, raised right here in Vancouver. I know what it means to be a working single mom, to juggle food stamps and multiple jobs while also earning a college degree. Those challenges showed me the barriers that keep families from thriving, and they taught me how policy meant to help can sometimes miss the mark.
I’m rolling up my sleeves every day because representing this community isn’t about me; it’s about all of us working together.
Real Progress. Bigger Vision.
Kim will fight for the statewide priorities that impact all of us here locally: affordable housing prices and wage increases, a fairer, more progressive tax system so everyone pays their share, real progress on replacing the Interstate 5 bridge, lower healthcare costs so families can thrive, justice and ecological protections, and policies grounded in the needs and voices of our community.
