My Southern Family Christmas is a film about family reuniting during the holidays,” said Jaicy. “The story follows Campbell, the character I play, who receives a phone call from her long-lost father’s new wife, and she tries to get them to reunite in Louisiana, specifically Sorrento. She is invited to come and spend some time with them, and because of her work, she ends up going there to write an article.”

Campbell is a travel journalist and begins to delve into Cajun traditions in Sorrento. Examining these traditions, Jaicy explained that Campbell “meets her father and the question is whether or not she’s going to tell him because she doesn’t know she’s his daughter. You follow her on her journey to decide whether or not she wants to be reunited with her father, and along the way she meets a guy and falls in love.”

The Surgeons the actress loved My Southern Family Christmas because he is “so family oriented. It’s unlike any other Christmas sign I’ve seen and it talks about giving people a second chance and also opening yourself up to finding love in different aspects and different ways you can love in romantic relationships but also in more. defining love, fatherly love and family. He has sisters, so it’s a really heartwarming movie. You definitely want to have your tissues when you watch that movie because it’s very moving.”

Jaicy actually grew up in France and moved to the United States about 7 years ago. “I didn’t realize how much French heritage there was in Louisiana, and I didn’t realize how much Cajun culture is still very independent of the larger American culture. They have all their own traditions, they need their own language. It was really interesting talking to the people there, getting to know them and hearing their stories,” said Jaicy HollywoodLife.

Jaicy’s teammates are great Bruce Campbell and One Tree Hill alum Moira Kelly. “Both of them are very appreciative of the work we do. Moira has been taking care of her kids for a while now, so it was fun to talk about her perspective on Hollywood. She hasn’t lived in California for a while, so I’ve heard a lot of really funny stories about her life in Hollywood.”

She continued: “Bruce Campbell is just an icon. I grew up seeing his face everywhere. He was on the whole spectrum of what this world has to offer, which led to a lot of really deep, existential life conversations. I felt like we were a family because we really took the time to tell each other our stories and it was a very engaging film because I felt like we all had very different opinions and experiences. I felt very, very happy and very fortunate to be in the room with them and hear their thoughts and what they had to share.” My Southern Family Christmas will air at 8pm on Hallmark.
