REI Co-op will open a store in Marina del Rey, California in spring 2023 – Update Cali

The new store allows the company to serve better 1.7 million REI members and the outdoor community

SEATTLE, November 23, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Outdoor specialty retailer REI Co-op will open a new store in port Del Rey California in spring 2023. The location will offer a wide range of clothing, equipment and expertise for camping, cycling, running, fitness, hiking, paddling, climbing, snow sports and more. For lovers of adventure on two wheels, there is a complete bike shop with certified mechanics. The store will also include a ski and snowboard shop with professional tuning, waxing and repairs.

“The Marina del Rey location will allow us to better serve REI members and others who live, work and visit the wonderful coastal community,” he said Steve Lochan, REI’s divisional vice president of retail. “Next to the trail, the store will be popular with those who enjoy time outdoors for fitness or relaxing in the sun on a patio or boat.”
